Stress Management

Anger management is not the only focus of Williams LifeSkills because anger is often times not the direct problem, but a symptom of a deeper issue that affects the majority of Americans: an deficiency in proper stress management techniques. Stress can not only affect the physical aspects of your life such as your health or general energy level, but can affect job performance as well as personal relationships.

It is for this reason that every person needs an stress management strategy, a way to focus on personal empowerment and keep feelings of loss of control in check. Let's face it, we all need help with a stress strategy, and an stress management technique or training is exactly what you are looking for.

Managing stress does not come naturally to everyone. However, because it is a skill, it can be learned as a technique, through proper training, in order to take back control of your life.

Williams LifeSkills offers a variety of services such as stress management in the workplace, both in a video format and a seminar version for corporate stress management. Williams LifeSkills will give you the strategies needed to reclaim your empowerment in life.

Williams LifeSkills was founded by renowned researcher and physician Redford Williams and educator/historian Virginia Williams. Redford is a Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Behavioral Medicine Research Center at Duke University Medical Center. Virginia, President of Williams LifeSkills, is a cultural historian and writer.

Together, they have written the best-selling Anger Kills: 17 Strategies to Control the Hostility That Can Harm Your Health, and LifeSkills: 8 Simple Ways to Build Stronger Relationships, Communicate More Clearly and Improve Your Health.

The Williams have organized and led hundreds of workshops around the world for corporations, government agencies and individuals. Their message has reached a broader public through a number of other forums. The have been interviewed locally, nationally and internationally, and have appeared on Oprah, ABC's 20/20, Dateline NBC, The Today Show and Good Morning America. They have also been featured in respected national newspapers such as the New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal.
