Psychology & a Healthy Mind

Based upon our experience in the field of psychology research, the studies we have done, and the psychology research articles we have published, we feel that Williams LifeSkills has the ability to give you back your empowerment in life.

Whether you are trying to reach Maslow's level of self actualization or just attempting to keep a sane, healthy body and healthy mind, stress reduction and self empowerment are the keys to your success. Reduce the anxiety to nothing and what is left is your own beautiful mind.

Williams LifeSkills can also use the ideas of self empowerment in a broader sense and expand it into employee empowerment, turning a group of employees into a confident, strong team through anger management and enrichment seminars.

Whatever description it is in which you fit, Williams LifeSkills can help you balance your life and live happily, naturally, through techniques and focus.

Williams LifeSkills was founded by renowned researcher and physician Redford Williams and educator/historian Virginia Williams. Redford is a Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Behavioral Medicine Research Center at Duke University Medical Center. Virginia, President of Williams LifeSkills, is a cultural historian and writer.

Together, they have written the best-selling Anger Kills: 17 Strategies to Control the Hostility That Can Harm Your Health, and LifeSkills: 8 Simple Ways to Build Stronger Relationships, Communicate More Clearly and Improve Your Health.

The Williams have organized and led hundreds of workshops around the world for corporations, government agencies and individuals. Their message has reached a broader public through a number of other forums. The have been interviewed locally, nationally and internationally, and have appeared on Oprah, ABC's 20/20, Dateline NBC, The Today Show and Good Morning America. They have also been featured in respected national newspapers such as the New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal.
